SKABRAWL EUROPE TOUR 2007

39 shows in 39 days, 13 countries, 2 bands, 1 tour bus. Our first tour of Europe is so hard capture in just a few pictures and we will never forget our time spent in different lands and foreign cultures. If anything, I'd say the people that we met, played for, danced and drank with were the most memorable. No matter what exotic city or foreign place we found ourselves in we always encountered so many great people looking for good music - ska music! The Toasters and Go Jimmy Go were the first ska bands to play the war-torn city of Mostar, Bosnia and the first American ones to hit any stage in Sofia, Bulgaria. Ska music is indeed alive and flourishing in the places we traveled and it was both refreshing and exciting for all of us. Coming from such a small island in the middle of an ocean we quickly realized that the world is so much bigger than we ever imagined and the only way we came to that understanding was by touring relentlessly and without fear. Just like our tour of Japan last year, we are always with the hope to be able to take the music we love and share it with the rest of the world. Music is strong like that and we so look forward to the next adventure that lies just a little further ahead.
