The tour bus only broke down once and the boys are about to make their dramatic debut back home with a brand-spanking new album, Go Jimmy Go!
As you all know, Anna Bannana's will be closing it's doors this December after a great 40 year run and this party will certainly do the venerable place justice. Every part of Anna Bannana's will be included in this party: the downstairs bar, the back courtyard, and of course the upstairs music venue. DJ's will be on hand to keep all areas of the party on the same page with tasty ska and reggae tunes all night. On top of that Dynamic Clothing, Blue Hawaii Surf, Island Tat Clothing, and 808 Tattoo will be giving away hundreds of dollars worth of free stuff! On GJG's end, the band will be debuting tracks off the new album (which will also be for sale at the show), along with exclusive new merchandise fresh from the Space 5-0 Tour.
It's been 2 years since Holiday Hell Yeah! and the Go Jimmy Go boys are back with yet another set of original ska and reggae tunes with their self-titled relase, Go Jimmy Go. Album 5 features the new members of the band -- bass (Jayder) and trombone (Ryan Kunimura). This new release features a rebirth of a band (hence the self-titled title) that has been around the world a few times over and back again since their last major studio effort, The Girl with the...Fishbowl Eyes. Go Jimmy Go reestablishes the band as one of Hawaii's most unique, original, enduring, touring bands ever. Go Jimmy Go drops into retail stores and online outlets everywhere Tuesday, 10/27/09.
